Marlborough Garlic Limited presents Mark Southon at Cloudy Bay, with support from Karaka Cuisine, in an intimate dining experience at Cloudy Bay’s gorgeous architecturally designed guest house, The Shack. Enjoy a handcrafted meal showcasing the best produce from around the region, paired with sumptuous Cloudy Bay wines.
Mark Southon is O’Connell Street Bistro’s executive chef, a cookbook author and star of five television shows. He will be joined by well-known Marlborough chef Sander de Wildt from Karaka Cuisine to prepare a menu of some of the best local produce available, including Marlborough Garlic’s alluring masterpiece Garlic Noir. Marlborough Garlic Noir is a beautiful culinary ingredient, fermented through 30-60 days of slow-roasting, resulting in a sweet meets savoury flavour that is truly unique.
Chefs around the world covet this funky food with its inky black colour and sticky date texture – expect a thrilling, exciting menu paired beautifully with elegant Cloudy Bay wines. Tickets are very limited.
