Rare Fare is a signature dish that celebrates the essence of Marlborough.
Everyone along the food chain, from the hunters and gatherers to the food lovers and chefs, has their own memories of good food enjoyed with family and friends in their favourite spot.
This year a whole bunch of your favourite Marlborough cafes and restaurants will take on the challenge to create their take on what Marlborough food means to them, vying to be named the Rare Fare Marlborough winners, which will be decided in a two-stage judging process. First, a local judge will visit each participating restaurant and independently score its Rare Fare offering. Their top six picks will be judged by a panel of culinary experts.
